JIT commenced operations in 1996 as an IT hardware company with just 3 staff members and represented Compaq Computers (later HP) inSri Lanka. Within one year JIT was offered the Lucent structured cabling Agency. Within four years of operation, the Company grew to be the leading structured cabling solutions design and implementation company in Sri Lanka and in 1999 won a Tender for US$ 2 million to connect a 100 branch network and central ATM switch for a public bank in Sri Lanka.
Since then, JIT has evolved into a fully fledged total solution, design and Systems Integration company with the JIT Group today staffing approximately 150 IT professionals to cater to many aspects of Information Technology.
