Jit Warnakulasuriya – Chairman
Visionary and Founder of JIT, Jit Warnakulasuriya is a veteran in the IT field in Sri Lanka with over 25 years experience.
Always armed with a ‘Can Do’ attitude Jit is the driving force behind the company. As Chairman of the Just In Time Group, Jit is responsible for the overall management and strategic decision making within the group and directly oversees the sales and marketing, business development and strategic relationships.
Dr. Chandika Wickramatillake – Group CEO
Dr. Wickramatillake holds a doctorate in surface engineering/Materials science from the University of Hertfordshire – UK. Having Had his education at S.Thomas’ college Mount Lavinia, Chandika popularly known as ‘CD’ left Sri Lanka in 1992 for his higher studies to the U.K. He graduated with Honours in 1996 from the University of Hertfordshire in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. He then continued his post graduate education to obtain his doctorate in 2000 from the same University, which was funded by 3M and DERA (Defence Evaluation Research Agency-UK). He is an Associate Member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, Institute of Materials, and the Society of Adhesion and Adhesives.
Dr. Wickramatillake has accumulated over 12 years of professional experience working in countries such as the UK, Australia, Germany, USA to name a few. He was the Project Controls Manager – Vanderlande Industries Ltd. for the mighty Terminal-5 Heathrow Airport Project at British Airport Authority. A £250 Million Automated Baggage Handling System for T5 Heathrow Airport – London. The £6.8 billion T5 Airport project is the world’s first new generation Airport which completed in March 2008.
Chrishan Mendis – Chief Operating Officer
Chrishan joined JIT in 1999 as Senior Manager for Systems Integration and thereafter General Manager for Strategic Finance, Commercial and Legal.
He has 17 years work experience out of which 14 years have been in the IT industry handling work areas involving Logistics, Operations, Accounting, Finance Management, Project Management
Special IT projects handled – Management Representative for implementation of integrated solution for Central Electronic Switch at a large public bank in Sri Lanka.
Was a team member for implementation of an integrated accounting solution for a group of companies in Papua New Guinea
